London Grand Final, 14 November. Your upload link and any S3 key come to you separately. Keep them private.
FX6 A, card 3.Each file is checked piece by piece on arrival and again as a whole, so "Received and verified" means our copy is identical to yours. Nobody with your link can see or download anything.
Do nothing. The page waits and carries on by itself when the network is back. Keep the page open.
Open the same link again and drop the same card or folder. The page says what did not finish, and it continues where it stopped. Files already received are skipped.
If you prefer your own tools, send straight to our storage over S3 with the key we sent you.
https://upload.perp.so, path style, region us-east-1.drop-avtest for the test. For the event: drop-av (AV crew), drop-photo (photo team), drop-desk (Frontier desk cameras).<bucket>/<your name>/<camera and card>/, and keep the slash at the end.One time setup:
rclone config create frontier s3 provider=Other \ endpoint=https://upload.perp.so region=us-east-1 \ force_path_style=true \ access_key_id=YOUR_KEY secret_access_key=YOUR_SECRET
Then one command per card (here for the test bucket):
rclone copy /Volumes/CARD03 frontier:drop-avtest/sam/FX6-A-card03/ \ --s3-no-head --s3-no-check-bucket --no-check-dest \ --multi-thread-streams 0 --s3-chunk-size 64M \ --s3-upload-concurrency 8 --transfers 16 --progress
If a transfer stops, run the same command again; a file that arrives twice is stored once. rclone starts a stopped file from the beginning, so on a shaky connection the upload page is the better choice. Other S3 tools work if they can upload without listing the bucket first.
The slate shows the exact time, flashes and beeps every second. It lets us line up every camera to the same clock.
